SERVER VAULT

So... I am pretty sure we will not be getting our Server Vault anytime soon.

If you have any of your Player Characters saved/exported, or you've used something like a Vordan's Hero Creator to re-create your old PC, please email them to me (I need the *.BIC file), and I will put them in your folder online. IF I approve them...

I would like to know what not "anytime soon" means. Another four weeks of reading crap online--or spending quality time with my family --instead of playing during my free time while I wait for my characters to come back seems better than starting all over again.

Between myself, my family, and my friends--who all came over in August because our server of four years shut down--Skullport: Port of Shadow--losing it all would be another emotional blow, especially the way I had been gathering and hoarding gold waiting for Silverymoon to show up again.

Quite simply, it's highly unlikely that we are going to get the server vault back. However, like Max said... you WILL BE BALE TO RECREATE YOUR CHARACTERS, GOLD, GEAR LEVELS AND EVERYTHING. so please have heart and dont give up on the Silvermarches just yet. We'll be up and running in no-time.

Please do everything you can to recover the vault it's quite simply impossible to remember all the gear and level of all characters.

Just so everyone is apprised of the situation, there was a problem accessing the server earlier. So restoring the server vault was slightly delayed. But Max does have the vault, and it WILL be restored, probably before the end of the day. So please be patient!

SERVER VAULT HAS BEEN IMPLEMENTED.

PLEASE POST ANY ISSUES WITH IT IN THE BUG REPORTS FORUM.

STILL NEED TO IMPLEMENT THE SQL DATABASE - WILL TRY TO DO THIS TOMORROW.
